first semester ends
My winter break was all about relaxing and spending time with my loved ones, all I did was sleep, eat and rest. However, I enjoyed every second of it, even though I would've liked to done more homework and be more productive because I hardly did any work and now I am behind in some of my classes so I have a lot of catching up to do.
Looking back at my !st semester now that the end of it is just a few weeks away I remember a few things I could have done differently and others that I did exceptionally well. For example, one of the things I believe I did well was meeting most of my deadlines up until winter break but I will do my best to get back on track in these last following weeks before grades are due and the semester comes to an end. Another good decision I believe I did was in choosing physiology and challenging myself into taking a difficult class and so far succeeding in it. Another thing I believe I did well is staying on pace in math because in my prior three years of high school I've fallen behind in math but this year has been the exception. Then, there's other things I regret doing like slacking off and not doing any work over winter break which was a huge mistake. Something that also upsets me was the fact that this whole first semester I have wasted my time doing nothing in my TA period instead of getting work done for other classes that also was a big mistake. Also, the fact that I've fallen so far behind in my economics class has me discontent because I feel like I could've put in a whole lot more effort into that class.
The reality of what I’ve been doing for the past 5 months has finally gotten to me, as you can see there's been plenty of ups and downs in my first semester of senior year, but all I can do now is try to close this semester off the best way possible and push myself to doing homework and staying after class to get more work done. Before this semester ends I need to do stay focus on all my classes and turn in all my work by January 25. Next, I will have to use my TA period a lot more efficiently and actually get work done in there because that's a great way to catch up on classes that i'm falling behind in. Lastly I will need to do homework and stay after school because I hardly ever do any of those things and it's holding me back on some of my classes so, now i'm going to have to be more responsible and get these things done.
Lastly, regarding my college applications i'm currently trying to set up my COS application as well as my financial aid application. After high school I plan on working and studying at the same time. Even though, I don't know where i'll be working quite yet, I do know that wherever it is ill be giving my best in order to achieve what I want.
